Degrees, NOT Types (core theme of personality)
Personality traits differ along spectrums, not across distinct categories.
- Ex: The Myers-Briggs, astrological signs, and love languages all place a person into a category (type) instead of on a spectrum.
- Ex: A screening measure might call a score of 15 high anxiety and a score of 14 normal, even though people with those scores are not very different from each other.
